Sheryl's
Letter
Dear Kylie Nicole, I am writing this letter to you so you will always have a record of my thoughts and feelings at this time. I know that you will always be in my life and we will talk about these things. But you are just 2 weeks old and all the feelings are fresh now in my mind. First I want to tell you about how I felt when I found out I was pregnant with you. I was shocked at first but later was thinking, "You are my little miracle." The more I thought about it, the more I knew in my heart I couldn't raise you by myself. I looked into open adoption. I could give you a great home and parents to love you. So I called Sarah at the Adoption Center. As soon as I saw Scott and Tracey's profile I knew they were the right ones. I knew in my heart I did the right thing. While you were in my stomach moving around it felt so good to feel you kicking me. During my pregnancy I spent time with your "future" parents since I was 4 months along. Some of the things we did together was going to Sea World, Zoo, going out to dinner. They are the perfect family I picked out for you. When you were still in my tummy, I talked to you and put music on my tummy for you to hear. When you were just about due to be born, I was scared to death. But, after you were born, I couldn't believe how beautiful you were. When I first saw you, you looked just like me when I was born. When I first held you I couldn't believe I had given birth to you. The nine months went by so fast. During my hospital stay I kept you in my room with me most of the time. I fed you, changed you, and dressed you in outfits I bought for you. You are home now. You have two loving parents and a great big brother. I already have a photo album of you and everytime I look at your beautiful face I know in my heart that I did the right thing for you With love, Your birthmom
